"Misters First Lady" a '93 chestnut overo mare, is a World Champion producer, a proven dam who consistently outproduces herself. She was shown at halter as a weanling and yearling. She is a halter point earner and futurity money winner. She placed first under all six judges in weanling fillies at the Paso Robles "Wine and Roses" Paint O' Rama in 1993. She was broke to ride in a snaffle as a two year old, but has primarily been used as a broodmare, occasionally as a trail horse, and to pony babies. Take a good look at the pedigree above and her babies below. She is leased out for the '05-'06 breeding season to Hawkins Paint and Quarter Horses. She is in foal to Tardee Trucker, due the first week of April, 2006.
Foal # 1, "Wall Street Miss" is a 1997 bay breedingstock mare by "Wallaby Bar," AQHA, by Sonny Dee Bar. Her pedigree is absolutely packed with AQHA Hall of Famers, Paint and QH Lifetime Leading Sires and World Champions and World Champion producers, both halter and performance. She is absolutely balanced and extremely feminine. It is rare to find one with as soft and natural a lope as she has. Note the clean throatlatch. She is in foal, due early April, 2006. Photo at left taken October 4, 2004. Click on her link for more photos. ALL of Misters First Lady's babies have clean, elegant necks. Neither she nor her babies had their necks sweated before these photos were taken. Wall Street Miss is an outstanding halter and performance broodmare, with enough halter lines laced in her pedigree to make her babies beautiful and enough performance to make them talented as well. Wall Street Miss foaled a gorgeous liver chestnut colt by Zipparock, February 14th, 2005. He was sold internationally at three months, with plans for use as a performance horse as well as a future herd sire. We look forward to seeing what he produces in the coming years. She is in foal to Tardee Trucker, also due the first week of April, 2006.
Foal # 2, "Wall Street Smarts" a 1998 bay overo gelding, is also by "Wallaby Bar" AQHA. He is very athletic, and earns his keep as a jumper down by the beach. His gaits are smooth and elastic, his mouth light, his mind sharp. He is naturally aware of his feet and what is under them. He was bought by the first person who came to look at him. She loves him, and had been looking for two years for the perfect horse. While breaking him to ride, I felt like he was exceptionally well suited for working cowhorse/roping events.

After two years I contacted his owner to see how he was doing. She sent me a long, enthusiastic reply. Here is the gist of what she wrote:

"I am so happy with Smarty and I really couldn't love him more than I do now. He has been so great and will just do anything I want him to. I took him to a couple schooling shows and he did real well... we got a first... I also took him team penning a few times and he was AWESOME with the cows. I wanted to start roping with him, but my friend that was gonna do it with me moved away....but I could throw a rope off of him and drag the fake steer around and he could care less..it didn't even bother him (I even accidentally roped his feet and hit his ears with the rope and he just stood there like "did something hit me?"!!!) His favorite thing though is going out on the trails....he LOVES it!! He would go all day if he could. Everyone always tells me "What a neat looking horse!"

Foal # 3, "Sucha Fine Line" a 1999 chestnut breedingstock gelding, is sired by world champion halter stallion, "Dateline" APHA. He had an "iffy" spot that never quite got big enough. This handsome fellow never had an awkward or ugly stage. He was gorgeous from day one, and is, BAR NONE the best horse I ever broke to ride. He had incredible natural ability to lift in front, collect behind, give to pressure, had plenty of "gas" when you asked for it, and would stand quietly when it was time for that. He was kind enough to let heavy, unskilled riders try him out after 45 days riding without dumping them. He was balanced and smooth at all gaits, and you just wanted to keep looking at him, no matter what he was doing, he was beautiful. We are located in Southern California, and when I advertised him for sale, I got calls from seven surrounding states. One person drove clear from Utah to come look at him. For a greenbroke breedstock gelding! Who knew?! I miss him. He was a "good one" for sure!

Foal # 4, "One Hot Date" a 2000 chestnut overo, is the 2002 World Champion Youth Halter Gelding. He is a full brother to "Sucha Fine Line" above. As a weanling he was purchased by the stallion owners Floyd and Cathy Danley, who campaigned him in the futurities that fall. He won over $8,000. He was also featured in the Ford Farms ad in the February 2001 issue of the Paint Horse Journal as well as the Ford Farms 2004 promotional video.

Foal #5 "Lone Star Legacy" chestnut over gelding foaled April 9, 2004, sired by "Texas Legacy" . He is also well marked on the other side, both eyes blue with striking eyeliner. His neck ties in high on his well muscled chest. His face is exquisite, slightly dished, with nice width between the eyes and a tiny muzzle. He has the looks, talent and temperament make him an excellent show prospect. Breeders Trust nominated, elegible for major west coast futurities. He was gelded at fourteen months. Good enough to halter and ride. Not only is he good at all three gaits, he is also very handy, with a flat kneed, easy lope and satin smooth jog. I recommend him as a definite all-around, western pleasure or working cowhorse deluxe prospect. He is handled daily, trimmed regularly and up to date on his shots. He is easy to catch in pasture and plays well with others. He is eighteen months old in the photo to the left. Click on it to see a full profile photo as well as a larger image of his head. Photos taken 9/23/05 of him in pasture condition, believe it or not. He measured 14.2 hh.

Foal #6 "Desiree" a 2005 loud overo filly is a full sister to Lone Star Legacy above.
Foal #8 "Tardee To The Party" a 2007 filly, sired by "Tardy Trucker", AQHA World Show Qualifier, AQHA Point Earner, CAHQ and Cow Palace Grand Nationsal Champion. She is out of Misters First Lady, above. She made a great showing at the MRVHA open weanling futurity this fall, placing third.
