Her sire, "Wallaby Bar" AQHA was sired by the AQHA Hall of Famer and Legend, Sonny Dee Bar. His dam, Wallaby Sis was an AQHA Champion, as well as AQHA 1982 Congress Hi Point All Around winner. Wallaby Sis was a full sister to Wallaby, who earned 340 halter points.
Wallaby Bar was bred by Dean Landers, who stood Sonny Dee Bar most of his life. He also stood AQHA headliners such as Impressive, Two Eyed Jack, and Coy's Bonanza. The fact that Dean Landers kept Wallaby Bar until he was two, and kept him intact should speak volumes as to the caliber of horse he was. Unfortunately Wallaby Bar suffered a broken pelvis in a nasty trailer accident at age two, ending his show career after earning only two Westen Pleasure points. He was then sold to a couple who almost starved him to death, then to another couple who kept him so fat he foundered and died in his teens. Though never well promoted, he was an absolute treasure, and I am very glad to have had the opportunity to discover this horse and breed to him before he died. If he was still alive I would do a father daughter breeding.
Her dam, "Misters First Lady" is a World Champion Halter producer, a proven dam who consistently outproduces herself. She was shown at halter as a weanling and yearling. She is a halter point earner and futurity money winner. She placed first under all six judges in weanling fillies at the Paso Robles "Wine and Roses" Paint O' Rama in 1993. She was broke to ride in a snaffle as a two year old, but has primarily been used as a broodmare, occasionally as a trail horse and to pony babies. Click on her link to see her photo pedigree and complete info on her six babies, photos, links, and more!
Her full brother, "Wall Street Smarts" a 1998 bay overo gelding, is also by "Wallaby Bar" AQHA. He is very athletic, and earns his keep as a jumper down by the beach. His gaits are smooth and elastic, his mouth light, his mind sharp. He is naturally aware of his feet and what is under them. He was bought by the first person who came to look at him. She loves him, and had been looking for two years for the perfect horse. While breaking him to ride, I felt like he was exceptionally well suited for working cowhorse/roping events.

After two years I contacted his owner to see how he was doing and she sent me a long enthusiastic reply. Here is the gist of what she wrote:

"I am so happy with Smarty and I really couldn't love him more than I do now. He has been so great and will just do anything I want him to. I took him to a couple schooling shows and he did real well... we got a first... I also took him team penning a few times and he was AWESOME with the cows. I wanted to start roping with him, but my friend that was gonna do it with me moved away....but I could throw a rope off of him and drag the fake steer around and he could care less..it didn't even bother him (I even accidentally roped his feet and hit his ears with the rope and he just stood there like "did something hit me?"!!!) His favorite thing though is going out on the trails....he LOVES it!! He would go all day if he could. Everyone always tells me "what a neat looking horse."

"Wall Street Miss" is a 1997 bay breedingstock mare by "Wallaby Bar," AQHA, by Sonny Dee Bar. Her pedigree is absolutely packed with AQHA Hall of Famers, Paint and QH Lifetime Leading Sires and World Champions and World Champion producers, both halter and performance. Out of the 6,000,000 or so Quarter horses registered, only 49 have been inducted into the
AQHA Hall of Fame. She has four of those up close on her sire's side, and over a dozen on her dam's side. She is absolutely balanced and extremely feminine. It is rare to find one with as soft and natural a lope as she has. Click the thumbnail photo to the left to see how she looks when she is fit, and how nicely she moves. Very fluid and soft. She is an outSTANDing performance broodmare prospect, with enough halter lines laced in her pedigree to make her babies beautiful as well as talented.
I sold her as a two year old with 30 days under saddle. Unfortunately, her new owner employed a Mexican with heavy handed and old fashioned training methods to "finish" her. She suffered a neck injury and is no longer rideable. (I guess he really did "finish" her,as far as riding goes.) I bought her back. Her value now is as a broodmare from here on out. She certainly proved her worth with her first colt, by Zipparock, APHA. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for pic and links. She is bred to Tardee Trucker, AQHA for an early April, 2006 foal. I can't wait to see what she has!
Wall Street Miss has a phenomenally feminine face and neck. This is not a photo of her as a yearling. It was taken in November, 2003. She is five, coming six in this picture. She has already started to hair up for the winter, so you can't acutally see the real detail in her face. It is like a porcelain doll. She has never had her neck sweated a single day in her life. That beautiful natural clean look is inherited from her mother's side of the family. (See photo illustrated pedigree above.) Look at the photos of Barlinks Machoman, Tuffys Two Spades. It comes from there. Sonny Dee Bar may have helped some too. Her sire, Wallaby Bar had an average looking throatlatch. His neck was a little heavy, but not cresty at all, even after he reached his teens. Often people ask me if she is Half-Arabian. A fine throatlatch and a pretty face is an asset in any performance or halter event, pure gold in the broodmare band. I have never heard anyone say, "That mare's head is too pretty and her throatlatch is too clean."
"Wall Street Miss" was slender and delicate looking 14.2 hh as a two year old. Now almost 15.1 hh, she has matured beautifully into a powerful, well built, balanced mare, with large gaskins and forearms, and powerful hindquarters while keeping that clean look to her neck. She picks up the lope so easy that you almost don't see it happening. She is phenomenal. Her baby should be a "rockin" pleasure prospect.
"Wall Street Miss" is definitely in foal, as you can see in the photo to the left, taken Oct 4th, 2004. So far, motherhood agrees with her just fine. She has never looked better!
She foaled her first baby, sired by Zipparock, Reserve World Champion Longe Line. She foaled Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2005. This colt is rich red chestnut with a flashy blaze and three socks. No other body white, he is a breedingstock colt. He is an excellent all-around show prospect, with lifetime leading sires and Hall of Famers on both sides of his pedigree. Visit his web page for more detailed information. He is Breeders Trust elegible, as well as Triple Crown, NSBA, Bakersfield Breeder's Challenge, Sierra Paint Horse Club. He has an extra soft and intelligent expression, very correct legs and is bred to be a champion, an athlete and a beautiful and intelligent partner for your showing endeavors. With APHA adding Breedingstock classes to their World Show events this year, as well as the Paint Alternative Competittion program, not to mention 4-H and open shows and futurities, maturities and jackpot classes, the showing possibilities for this guy are endless.
FLASH UPDATE! He is SOLD and will be exported out of the country to be a performance horse and future herd sire. We look forward to seeing his babies in years to come!.
